# Marketplace

## The What:

Nebula is a talis-protocol alternative which is community governed. It will allow for extremely open and accessible use of the Injective blockchain.

## The Why:

Talis has a number of glaring issues currently:

* Admin on all NFT contracts
* Closed source
* No community governance 
* No public APIs

If you're talis staff, don't worry. Talis isn't the only one with problems on injective.

Injective themselves have some issues; You need a beefy machine and xX\_L33tHaxxor\_Xx™️ skills to upload an on-chain governance proposal for a smart contract. we intend to make a public portal which you can read more about  [Proposal Portal](/nebula/goals/proposal-portal.md)

## The How:
